Calling all bakers! We’re looking for the tastiest, most snack-tacular baked goods possible for our Spring Fling Bake Sale, taking place on Friday, May 29!

100% of the proceeds of the sale will go to student enrichment initiatives supported by Dovercourt SAC.

Please sign up below to indicate what you plan to bake for the event. This will help us to ensure we have enough variety to meet the diverse needs of our school community!

Please sign up here to contribute.

Drop-off instructions on Friday, May 29, 2026:
  • If dropping off between 8:00 am - 2:30 pm: Bring baked goods to the office.
  • If dropping off between 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Bring baked goods to the Bake Sale table in the North yard.

Logistics:
  • Clearly mark all containers you want back, and retrieve them before the end of the event.
    • Unclaimed containers will be kept in the staff room until Monday, June 1st, and donated after that.
  • Clearly label your baked good (so we know what it is!) and provide a list of ingredients.
    • Please label items that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and/or vegan, if you can.
  • Think portable! Handheld bakes (that don’t require plates or cutlery) are best.
  • You don’t have to bake anything yourself! Store-bought is welcome, and appreciated.
  • We won’t have refrigeration at the Bake Sale table, so please don’t bring anything that will melt.
  • If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].
  • Ensure all baked goods are nut-free!!

Thank you for making Spring Fling so "sweet"!

Introducing the Oisin Arts Fund

4/11/2026

Dear Dovercourt Community,

We are pleased to share a meaningful opportunity to come together as a school community to honour the memory of Oisin, a beloved Dovercourt student who passed away in 2022.

In partnership with the family and our School Advisory Council (SAC), Dovercourt is establishing the Oisin Arts Fund, which will support arts-based initiatives that enrich student learning and well-being. This year, funds raised will help bring a special theatre production, The Last Voyage of the Good Ship Talos, to our school this April. Created in collaboration with Soulpepper, this interactive performance explores themes of connection, resilience, and the environment, and offers students a thoughtful and creative space for reflection.

This production holds a special connection to our community, as the main character, Oisin, was named in honour of our own student.  It is our hope that this experience will be both meaningful and inspiring for our students, while also celebrating Oisin’s memory in a way that reflects the creativity and spirit he brought to our school.

We invite families who are able to contribute to the Oisin Arts Fund. (See instructions below.) Donations of any amount are appreciated and will go directly toward supporting this initiative and future arts opportunities at Dovercourt.

Thank you for your continued care, generosity, and commitment to our school community.
