Thanks to a Garden Grant from TD Friends of the Environment, Dovercourt PS will be undergoing an outdoor transformation in 2022! The Dovercourt PS community, including students, staff and the SAC, will be collaborating with local garden designer Sara Katz, to plan and plant a number of gardens and containers around Dovercourt PS. There are also opportunities for parents, guardians and the community to participate in this exciting revitalization project.
The focus of this garden project is on pollination, with classes from Kindergarten to Grade 8 having the opportunity to participate in transforming the school grounds into a haven for pollinators.

JamPAD Holiday Fundraiser
Consider supporting the Jam Club at Dovercourt this holiday season.
This popular and innovative music program is coming back to Dovercourt in a big way, with JamPAD instruments already back in daytime music classes and about to return for the lunchtime club. In past years, up to 70 students joined the lunchtime club each week, with an even longer signup list of excited, aspiring musicians anticipated for this year. Your donations will go toward new equipment like drums, keyboards and mics, guest musicians and to subsidize the cost of the program so all students who want to participate can. See the Indiegogo campaign page for more information. |
